Nigel Aldis thanks the residents of Sandy and Blunham for their support over past 12 years.

I would like to thank all the residents of the Sandy Ward (including Blunham) who have given me their support over the last twelve years, both on the old Mid Beds District Council and more recently Central Bedfordshire.

Naturally I am disappointed not to be able to carry on supporting the residents in the area, many of whom have come to me for help or advice. I will be continuing to be involved in both communities as I remain a member of Sandy Town Council and have just been elected to the parish council in Blunham. The village shares many of the same issues as its much larger neighbour, but I can see why the residents have opted to live in the more rural setting as it is a wonderfully tranquil place - apart from the morning and evening rat run!

While I will have to refer many issues to the newly elected Central Bedfordshire councillors to whom I wish every success, I will be available to offer any advice that I can to residents in both areas if they wish to contact me.

What's the Right Choice for Sandy?

However you vote nationally, what is the best choice for the local area?

Local People with Local Knowledge...
(None of the Conservative candidates live in Sandy Town)

...with an understanding of all the Issues,
(There is a great deal more than roads and pavements)

...With a Track Record of speaking for the Residents,
(Nigel Aldis has asked questions at every Central Beds Council meeting)

...Who are involved in the Local Community,
(School Governors, membership of local groups and socieities)

---Who keep you Informed about Local Issues,
(73 Bus, housing scheme in Beeston, traffic calming measures)

and have been elected to the Town Council.
